Vanessa Chambers, earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, has held a Registered Nursing license since 2011. In 2013 she branched out and extended her licensure to include California. She has worked in diverse clinical settings and majority of her nursing career has been spent in Women’s Health as a postpartum nurse and currently as an OB-GYN Clinic Nurse.

Her love for educating patients and families using evidence-based practice has led to her pursuit of a certification in Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN) in 2020 and a master’s degree in nursing education at Chamberlain University in 2021. Vanessa has much compassion for patients and is also a firm believer in self-care and self-compassion in order to care for others. Vanessa’s adversities in life have steered her to incorporate a health and wellness lifestyle for the past decade. Along the way, she’s discovered various healing modalities, learned how to navigate difficult times, and embraces the growth that comes with stepping into new roles such as staying balanced as a mom.

This journey is ever-evolving, she remains committed to learning with an open mind and open heart. Through it all, she continues to uncover her light in the beauty of life. This has led to the creation of Illumisoul Coaching. Recently becoming a Board Certified Nurse Coach and and a Holistic Practitioner, she hopes to share her experience, expertise and apply evidence-based practice to help empower clients to reconnect with their true selves, foster self-awareness, and cultivate a life filled with joy, balance, and purpose.
